Suzanne was on air. Jessica had a lovely black dress. That is a pretty good conclusion altogether, "I should advocate greater despatch in the business of amendments, if I were not convinced of the absolute necessity there is of pursuing the organization of the Government; because I think we should obtain the confidence of our fellow- citizens, in proportion as we fortify the rights of the people against the encroachments of the Government" (James Madison). Amasing... as he was talking about his own government.... how would you explain he thought it was the right thing to do when today it's much easier to find "powers" working to fortify government's rights through regulation and intervention? According to you, how do you explain the today's lack of interest for the people's rights against the encroachments of the government worlwide? How do you explain that even when the people in various part of the world made some significant victory other some oppressive regime, they were never close to be able to protect themselves from the next government's encroachments, why their new leader were never wise enough (despite the American example) to offer that protection to the people from the most obvious, their coming own oppression? How would you explain, describe and rate the illusion that a Bill of Rights against any government can be judged unnecessary?
