Reading lowest part of my screen, I can say that I'm not interested in the blame game about Katrina and I doubt anyone is, just too easy afterwards. Now in some troubled times, you may wish a powerfull central state but are you ready to pay the price, the loss of state liberty and increased tax to finance a large bureaucracy that will be able to act faster if you ever need it one day and do nothing the rest of the time.
